Two young men have been detained in Dushanbe on suspicion of hooliganism involving a knife wound.

Police officers detained two Dushanbe residents, aged 19 and 20, on suspicion of committing hooligan acts, the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs reported .

According to the department, on December 19 at around 8:30 PM, the suspects, motivated by hooliganism, got into a conflict with other city residents, aged 19 and 18, near a grocery store. During the argument, the 20-year-old man stabbed the 19-year-old man in the left chest.

As a result, the victim suffered serious bodily injury. An investigation is underway into the incident.
