Consultations between the heads of press services and information departments of the ministries of foreign affairs of the CSTO member states were held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The event was attended by representatives of the CSTO Secretariat, the Joint Staff, the Crisis Response Center, and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization.
During the consultations, participants thoroughly discussed a wide range of issues related to expanding cooperation in the information and analytical sphere.



In connection with the planned formation of the Information and Analytical Directorate of the CSTO Secretariat in the first half of 2026, the importance of institutionalizing the department's information work was noted. In this regard, the parties emphasized the advisability of approving a document regulating this area of the Organization's activities.
The Russian side emphasized the advisability of further developing the CSTO Secretariat's network resources, primarily modernizing the Organization's official website.





CSTO Secretariat staff also informed consultation participants about the preparation of a Conceptual Report on the topic "Greater Eurasian Partnership: Shared Responsibility for a Secure Future" in 2025.
The next consultations of the heads of information departments and press services of the ministries of foreign affairs of the CSTO member states are planned to be held in the fourth quarter of 2026.
