A joint laboratory on environmental protection and big data has been commissioned at the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower, and Ecology of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. The opening ceremony was attended by Academician Kobiljon Khushvakhtzoda, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, representatives of the Ministry of Transport of China, the Ministry of Ecology and Environmental Protection of China, and Hebei Sailhero Environmental Protection. This was reported by the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
During the event, it was noted that the laboratory's modern equipment, installed through joint collaboration with the support of Chinese ministries and Hebei Sailhero Environmental Protection, is designed for environmental monitoring and analysis of the quality and efficiency of natural resource use.

The laboratory provides an opportunity for scientists from Tajikistan and China to expand scientific cooperation and joint research in the fields of ecology and energy, exchange knowledge and experience, and conduct research at the international level using advanced technologies.
The opening of the joint laboratory is an important step in strengthening scientific and technological cooperation between Tajikistan and China. It opens up broad prospects for sustainable environmental development and scientific progress in both countries. The laboratory's equipment is imported to Tajikistan for the first time and creates new opportunities for conducting cutting-edge environmental research and working with big data.

The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including a multiparameter water quality analyzer, a P-MP1000 portable multiparameter water quality meter, and an XHAQSN-822 networked air quality monitor. These devices are designed for environmental monitoring, environmental data collection, and collaborative scientific and technical research.
