Days of Robotics, Innovative Educational Technologies, and Computer Science have begun in Tajikistan. The event was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo jointly with the V.N. Tatishchev Astrakhan State University. For nearly two weeks, students and teachers will enhance their knowledge in modern technologies and engineering education, according to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
For the event, educational intensive courses in robotics, physics, and mathematics have been prepared for students in grades five through eleven. The program is designed with a high level of learning in mind and aims to provide rich, informative, and engaging material, stimulating students to learn.
"Our goal is to show young professionals, schoolchildren, and school-age children how exciting an engineering profession can be and the horizons it opens for young people. It creates a solid educational foundation and allows them to become engineering professionals and enhance their systemic education, which is useful in any profession," emphasized Andrey Patrushev, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Tajikistan.
In addition, a professional development program has been developed for teachers teaching physics, mathematics, and computer science in Russian-language schools. It aims to improve lessons, update teaching materials, and organize robotics clubs.
The event is being held jointly with Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev. University specialists are on hand at each venue.
"This is the first time our higher education institution has participated in such an event. We hope that the experience we want to share with our colleagues and schoolchildren will be useful for both countries," noted Alfiya Valisheva, Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies at V.N. Tatishchev Astrakhan State University.
Following the Days of Robotics, Innovative Educational Technologies, and Computer Science, schoolchildren will receive certificates of participation, and teachers will receive documents confirming advanced training in accordance with the established Russian Federation standard.
The event is being held under the "Russia is with you" logo. A resource center under this brand was previously opened in Tajikistan; now there are two in the country—in Dushanbe and Khujand. The resource centers host lectures, exhibitions, and discussion clubs. They also operate a continuing education center implementing a program from the Russian engineering school.
