As part of the action plan of the executive body of state power of the city of Gissar, work continues on repair, restoration and asphalting of local roads.
According to the city's press service, on the morning of November 9, the Chairman of Gissar, member of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Nosirzoda Jabbor, visited the rural jamoat of Deqonobod to familiarize himself with the improvement work in the rural area and took part in the asphalt paving campaign of the inner-village streets in the village of Gachak.
In the area where road repairs are underway, the mayor spoke with residents—both young and old—expressing gratitude on his own behalf and on behalf of the city authorities to the entrepreneurs and patriotic residents of Gachak for their initiative.
Then Nosirzoda Jabbor, together with veteran laborer and former city chairman Bakhriddin Solekhov, personally poured the first portions of asphalt onto the road and instructed road workers to continue paving.
It is noted that residents of the village of Gachak, as part of improvement and construction activities dedicated to the 35th anniversary of State Independence, have built and commissioned two road bridges, a sports complex, a hippodrome, and an artesian well. They also plan to repair and pave over 6 kilometers of internal roads.
The mayor wished the road workers and residents success in their work, noting that this road, built in honor of the upcoming holidays—President's Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan—will be a valuable gift for residents and visitors of the region and will serve people for many years to come, promoting friendship, good neighborliness, and the development of local infrastructure.
