A meeting with energy industry workers in the city of Panjakent was held in Tajikistan's Zerafshan Valley. The regional office of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption (ASFC) held the meeting, the agency's press center reported.

The event took place on August 13 in the city's power grid conference room. Management and employees of energy companies participated. Agency representatives presented reports on anti-corruption measures, the implementation of state anti-corruption policy, and improving citizens' legal literacy.
Particular attention was paid to compliance with legislation on holding celebrations and ceremonies, issues of upbringing and education of children, the fight against terrorism and extremism, and preventing citizens from becoming involved in illegal parties and movements.
According to the agency, the meeting was held in an open discussion format. The organizers expressed hope that the event would serve as a foundation for raising anti-corruption awareness and legal awareness among energy industry workers in the region.
