The grand opening of a modern medical clinic took place in the new Khosilot district of the Mirzo Rizo rural jamoat in the city of Hisor. Deputy Mayor of Hisor, Bunafsha Yuldoshzoda, attended the ceremony, according to the mayor's press service.
The outpatient clinic was built in collaboration with international development partners as part of events marking the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence. The new facility was a gift to the region's residents on Medical Workers' Day.
The medical facility includes consultation rooms, surgery, ultrasound, and a family doctor. The outpatient clinic will provide medical care to over 2,500 residents of the Khosilot microdistrict and surrounding areas.
During her working visit, Bunafsha Yuldoshzoda also visited City Hospital No. 1, where she congratulated the medical staff on their professional holiday. Several doctors and medical workers were awarded letters of gratitude from the Mirzo Rizo Jamoat for their high quality of public service, active participation in community and improvement projects, and in honor of Medical Worker's Day.
City authorities noted that the opening of new medical facilities will improve the accessibility and quality of medical care for residents of Gissar and will also contribute to the development of the region's social infrastructure.
