On September 4, 2025, a meeting of the Central Asia – United States of America Secretariat in the C5+1 format was held in Dushanbe with the participation of senior officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the countries of the region and the US Department of State, the Tajik Foreign Ministry reported.

During the meeting, participants discussed the current status and prospects for developing this cooperation format. Specifically, they exchanged views on the parties' proposals and intentions for celebrating the 10th anniversary of the C5+USA platform, intensifying efforts in economic diplomacy, including through the B5+1 Forum to promote business and investment ties and the Critical Minerals Dialogue, and improving the coordination efforts of the C5+1 Secretariat in organizing meetings of foreign ministers and sectoral working groups.
Representatives of the participating countries also discussed details of the agenda for the planned events and expressed their countries' readiness to expand partnership in this format.
