New water and sanitation tariffs have been set in Dushanbe from September 1.

New tariffs for drinking water and wastewater disposal services were introduced in the capital of Tajikistan on September 1, 2025. This was reported by the Dushanbe City Hall press service.

According to the Decree of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe No. 531 of August 13, 2025, the prices for services are set as follows:

for the population – 2.60 somoni per 1 m³;

for budgetary organizations – 3.59 somoni per 1 m³;

for commercial organizations – 9.10 somoni per 1 m³.

In addition, for subscribers who do not have water meters, the payment procedure established by the Decree of the Government of Tajikistan dated April 30, 2011 No. 234 (per person per month) has been retained:

Residents of multi-storey buildings will pay 28.07 somoni;

owners of private courtyards with water supply and sewerage – 23.39 somoni;

houses using garden plots – 7.41 somoni.

The mayor's office emphasized that these measures are aimed at the rational use of water resources and improving the quality of public services provided.
