The Belaya Vezha International Theatre Festival opened in Brest on September 5. Three dozen performances will be presented over the course of the week, according to the 24 Hours News program on STV.
The program features productions by 29 creative groups from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. Performances will take place at five venues. The program is designed to appeal to audiences of all ages. The genre palette includes classic drama, musical fairy tales, interactive comedies, and mystical thrillers.
In the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a special place in the festival program is given to productions about the immortal feat of the people.
