The Agency for State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan held a ceremony dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the country's independence, the agency's press center reported.
The event was attended by the Director of the Agency, Lieutenant General of Justice Sultonzoda Sumaymon Said, Senior Advisor to the Department of the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Personnel Issues Davlatzoda Muzaffar Salim, Head of the Department for Religious Affairs and Regulation of Holidays and Celebrations of the Dushanbe Mayor's Office Akhtamzoda Abdualim Akhtam, as well as employees of the central office.
Addressing the participants, Sultonzoda congratulated the staff on the national holiday, noting that independence was the embodiment of the Tajik people's centuries-old aspirations for freedom and sovereignty. "All the achievements of the independence period are largely due to the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon," the head of the department emphasized.
According to him, the task of every civil servant is to worthily continue the course of strengthening statehood, developing the country, and improving the standard of living of citizens.
During the meeting, the Agency's management presented departmental awards and incentives to employees. Specifically, 15 employees received the "Excellent Worker in State Financial Control and Anti-Corruption Agencies" badge, 21 received certificates of honor, and 19 received letters of gratitude. Additionally, one employee was awarded the "15th Anniversary of the Agency" commemorative medal, five were awarded early special titles, and another 30 employees received subsequent special titles.
The Agency noted that celebratory events dedicated to Independence Day were held in all regional and local branches of the agency.
