On the night of September 15, Russian armed forces launched a series of strikes against targets in Ukraine. According to Ukrainian authorities, the attacks affected the Sumy, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhia regions.
An agricultural enterprise in the Akhtyrsky district of Sumy Oblast was hit. According to the regional prosecutor's office, 12 people were injured in the attack, one of whom is in serious condition. About 30 pieces of equipment, including combine harvesters and tractors, were damaged.
In the Chernihiv region, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a strike targeted firefighters who were extinguishing a fire following a drone attack. Four rescuers were injured.
In the Donetsk region, according to the Kramatorsk city council, strikes using FAB-250 aerial bombs hit the central part of the city, injuring nine people.
Drone strikes were also recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region: fires broke out at a transport company in the Pavlohrad district and the Kryvyi Rih district, and a gas pipeline was damaged. In the Nikopol district, according to local authorities, a 63-year-old woman was injured.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, an attack hit the territory of a gardening community in the suburbs of Zaporizhzhia, where a residential building was destroyed; there were no casualties.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of September 15, the use of three S-300 missiles and 84 attack drones was recorded, of which, according to preliminary information, 59 were shot down.
In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of six Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over the Belgorod region.
