On September 12, 2025, a training seminar on the topic of "Preventing Corruption in Military Conscription" was held in the meeting room of the Executive Body of State Authority of the Rasht District at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Agency's press center reported.
The event was attended by members of conscription commissions and employees of military commissariats from the Rasht, Nurabad, Tajikabad, and Lakhsh districts. The seminar was held as part of the Agency's Action Plan for the Promotion and Explanation of Anti-Corruption Policy and aimed at raising awareness among participants about preventing corruption during the conscription process.
During the event, participants studied in detail the provisions of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Military Service Duties and Military Service" and "On Combating Corruption," as well as the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated August 3, 2021, No. 222 "On the State Strategy for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2030."
Particular attention was paid to issues of preventing crimes and administrative offences that contribute to corruption, including in the work of military medical commissions.
Agency representatives noted that creating favorable conditions for military personnel is contributing to an increase in the number of those wishing to serve in the Tajik Armed Forces, reflecting the high level of patriotism and love for the Motherland among the younger generation.
