Following the opening of the administrative building of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan, President Emomali Rahmon remotely launched the operation of residential buildings of the Agency for Hydrometeorology. This was reported by the presidential press service.
Construction of the residential complex began in 2022 with funding from the government of the republic and the Asian Development Bank. The client was the Agency for Hydrometeorology under the Committee for Environmental Protection, and the contractor was the domestic company Binosoz-2015 LLC.
The complex, built on Bobojon Gafurov Street in Dushanbe's Sino district, includes two 11-story residential buildings with 120 apartments, as well as a kindergarten, sports and playgrounds, a service center, a basement, and a parking lot. The total area of the apartments is 10,900 square meters. The residential units include 40 one-bedroom, 40 two-bedroom, and 40 three-bedroom apartments.
The ground floor of the buildings houses a kindergarten with four rooms for intellectual games, classrooms, and changing and washing facilities. All apartments are connected to the city's central heating system.
The 960 square meter sports ground is equipped with all necessary equipment. The complex grounds are landscaped, with trees planted and street lighting installed.
As a result, 120 families of Agency employees received apartments, and their children were given the opportunity to attend preschool. The country's leadership noted that the construction of such facilities improves the living conditions of specialists and enhances their productivity.
