On September 16, Tajikistan's Minister of Transport, Azim Ibrohim, spoke at the 2025 Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference in Seoul, Republic of Korea, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic reported.
In his speech, the minister discussed the implementation of joint projects with the Republic of Korea in the transport sector, including the construction and modernization of infrastructure facilities. He noted that the successful implementation of such projects contributes to the development of Tajikistan's transport network and the improvement of logistics links in the region.
Azim Ibrohim emphasized the need to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation with key Korean institutions, including Korea National Railways, the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Eximbank), and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). He stated that this will enable the implementation of more infrastructure projects that will promote economic growth and improve transport security.
The Minister also emphasized the importance of continuing dialogue and exchanging experiences with international partners to implement modern technologies and standards in Tajikistan's transport sector.
