Today, the 11th National Forum on the Rule of Law began at the National Library of Tajikistan in honor of Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, reports NIAT KHOVAR.
The forum brings together representatives of government agencies, foreign ministries of justice, international organizations operating in Tajikistan, as well as members of the academic community and civil society. Participants discuss the challenges and difficulties hindering the strengthening of the rule of law and seek joint solutions through the exchange of experiences.
The forum is being held at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan with the aim of developing specific recommendations, strengthening the rule of law, and ensuring equality of citizens before the law.
The National Forum has become an effective platform for expanding cooperation between government agencies, international organizations, and civil society. It promotes the development and improvement of national legislation, the protection of citizens' rights and legitimate interests, the search for modern methods for developing the socioeconomic life of society, and the organization of open dialogue.
The forum will address issues such as access to justice, constitutional guarantees for the protection of human rights, the development of civil and business legislation, criminal law policy and the improvement of criminal legislation, and other relevant topics. Following the event, the results of the discussions will be summarized and recommendations will be adopted, which will be forwarded to the relevant authorities for consideration and practical implementation.
"The Constitution, along with regulating the most important state issues, has created the foundation for the formation, development, and strengthening of the legal system. It promotes the improvement of legal policy, the development of legislation, and the creation of regulations, taking into account the country's socioeconomic development and the principles of a sovereign, democratic, legal, and social state," noted forum participants.
