Mirzo Ismoilzoda, Director of the National Patent and Information Center of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, held a meeting with representatives of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), chaired by James Phillip, the program's chief legal officer. This was reported by NIAT Khovar, citing the center.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues of commercialization of inventions, technology transfer, and retraining of specialists in the field of intellectual property.
According to the institution, the interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the results achieved and confirmed their readiness to further develop cooperation within the CLDP framework.
The Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) operates under the U.S. Department of Commerce and implements projects to improve the legal framework for economic and trade issues in various countries around the world.
