The grand opening of the 88th theater season took place in Dushanbe, marked by a spectacular ballet gala concert. The theater's press service reported this.
Excerpts from renowned productions from both the Russian and international repertoires were presented on stage, including "La Bayadère," "Le Corsaire," "Zol and Rudoba," and "Khusrav and Shirin." The audience's attention was particularly drawn to the choreographic sketches created to the music of Sergei Rachmaninoff, Max Richter, and Astor Piazzolla. The productions were distinguished by their original interpretations, rich emotional palette, and blend of classical traditions with a contemporary vision.
The evening's culmination was a national divertissement set to music by Tajik composer Daler Tilloev. This production had previously received high praise from audiences during the theater's spring tour to France, where it was met with prolonged applause.
According to the organizers, the opening of the new theater season was a landmark event in Tajikistan's cultural life, confirming the high level of artistry and the richness of the national ballet school.
