Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) Daler Murodalizoda met with a delegation from the international company Al Fardan Exchange (United Arab Emirates), led by Hassan Jabir Al Fardan. The regulator's press service reported this on Thursday.
As noted by the National Bank, the talks discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in foreign exchange transactions, cash transactions, and the introduction of modern payment instruments.
"The National Bank of Tajikistan's primary goal is to ensure monetary and financial stability, strengthen the resilience of the banking system, and create favorable conditions for sustainable economic development. In this regard, strategic cooperation with international partners is of particular importance," emphasized Daler Murodalizoda.
According to him, cooperation with Al Fardan Exchange could contribute to the development of modern payment instruments, strengthen trade and investment ties between Tajikistan and foreign markets, and increase the competitiveness of the national banking system.
For his part, Al Fardan Exchange's CEO, AlfaNow, Hassan Jabir Al Fardan, expressed his willingness to develop a mutually beneficial partnership. He noted that the company is interested in expanding its presence in the money transfer sector, improving the national payment system infrastructure, and providing greater access to financial services for citizens.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on strengthening the banking system, sharing best practices, and discussing new formats of cooperation.
