A modern healthcare center was opened today in the village of Kozidekh, Andorobi rural jamoat, Ishkashim district, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO). The regional administration press service reported this.
The new medical facility was built with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, and international partners. The center is equipped with all the necessary modern medical equipment and treatment supplies, enabling it to provide high-quality medical care to residents of the region.
After reviewing the villagers' labor achievements, regional head Mirzonabot Alisher Khudoberdi ceremoniously opened the medical facility and praised the quality of the construction work.
"Thanks to the country's independence and the constant attention of the Leader of the Nation, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, the standard of living and quality of life for residents of remote villages have significantly improved. The appearance of these villages has also symbolically been transformed," the regional governor noted.
Mirzonabot Alisher Khudoberdi emphasized that following the announcement of a new stage of sustainable socio-economic development in GBAO, the region has achieved significant results in all areas, including infrastructure, education, energy, and healthcare.
Special attention was paid to achievements in healthcare. All healthcare facilities in the region underwent reconstruction and major renovations, improving the quality of medical services and creating comfortable conditions for patients and medical staff.
