Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan on a working visit to participate in the second Central Asia–Russia Summit and a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, reports NIAT Khovar.
The high-ranking guest was met at Dushanbe International Airport by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kokhir Rasulzoda, and other officials.
As a reminder, on October 9, the presidents of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Russia will hold the second Central Asia–Russia Summit in Dushanbe.
Also on October 10, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held in Dushanbe under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon.
