On October 14, 2025, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Homid Khoshimzoda met with Nigel Killick, CEO of the British company Really English, at the Ministry of Education and Science. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in English language learning, developing modern educational programs, and implementing innovative projects for foreign language teaching in schools and universities across the country.
First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Homid Khoshimzoda expressed gratitude for the initiatives of the UK and Really English aimed at improving English proficiency among young people and teachers in Tajikistan. He emphasized that developing language skills, particularly English, is a priority for state education policy.
Khoshimzoda noted that, as part of the policy pursued under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon , aimed at developing education, the Ministry of Education and Science is constantly taking effective measures to improve the level of foreign language proficiency among students and teachers.
In turn, Nigel Killick expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science. He confirmed Really English 's commitment to implementing joint programs, including developing interactive courses, professional development for teachers, and expanding educational collaboration with the country's higher education institutions.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at improving the quality of English language instruction and developing innovative educational programs in Tajikistan.
