The head of the Migration Service of Tajikistan, Imatsho Nodirzoda, held a meeting with representatives of the Republic of Korea's International Social-Worker and YCTEAM CO., LTD. The meeting focused on the organized recruitment of Tajik citizens for temporary employment in the Republic of Korea, according to the press service of the Migration Service of Tajikistan.
The parties discussed employment opportunities for Tajik citizens in various sectors of the Republic of Korea's economy, including the automotive industry, construction, agriculture, and other sectors. The guests were provided with detailed information on the activities of the State Institution "Pre-Departure Consulting and Training Center for Labor Migrant Workers" in the cities of Dushanbe, Khujand, Bokhtar, and Khorog.
During the meeting, it was noted that the Migration Service of Tajikistan actively cooperates with 13 foreign countries on labor migration issues and continues to work in this area. Issues related to the security and legal status of Tajik citizens abroad, vocational training and education, foreign language proficiency, including the study of Korean, and the potential for returning migrants to enter the domestic labor market were discussed in detail.
Representatives of Korean companies explained that there is currently a high demand for seasonal workers from Tajikistan. Citizens who successfully pass the Korean language test will be assigned to jobs with accommodation, meals, and a competitive salary.
The parties emphasized that cooperation in the field of labor migration creates new opportunities for the professional development of Tajik citizens, ensures employment, and contributes to the strengthening of bilateral economic ties between the countries.
