Referee teams from Tajikistan have been assigned to officiate matches in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) club tournaments for the 2025/26 season, according to the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
FIFA referee Gulmurodi Sadullo will head the refereeing team for the matchday three match of the 2025/26 AFC Champions League Elite League between Al-Wahda (United Arab Emirates) and Al-Duhail (Qatar). He will be assisted on the lines by FIFA assistant referees Hasan Karimov and Farkhod Kuralov, and FIFA referee Abdullo Davlatov has been appointed as the fourth official.
Mohammad Taqi Al-Jaafari Bin Jahari will provide VAR technical support, and Ahmad Akasah Bin Ahmad Al-Badowe from Singapore will serve as VAR assistant. The meeting will take place today, October 20, in Abu Dhabi.
In addition, four referees from Tajikistan have been recruited to officiate matches in the 2025/26 AFC Challenge League group stage. FIFA referee Sayodzhon Zayniddinov and FIFA assistant referee Ismoil Nuraliyev will officiate the Group D matches in Indonesia, while FIFA referee Abdullo Davlatov and FIFA assistant referee Vafo Karaev will officiate the Group B matches in Kuwait.
Representatives of the Football Federation of Tajikistan noted that the appointment of referees to AFC international club tournaments is recognition of the professionalism and high level of training of Tajik referees. Participation in such competitions not only improves referees' qualifications but also enhances the international standing of Tajik football.
