Chairman of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan Rustam Mirzozoda and Chairman of the Human Rights Commission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hala binti Mazid Al-Tuwaijiri discussed the exchange of experience between the judicial systems of the two countries.
The parties expressed confidence that the meeting would create a favorable basis for the development and expansion of mutual cooperation with the Human Rights Commission, the Ministry of Justice, and the judiciary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Particular attention was paid to the development of legal cooperation and the exchange of best practices in the field of protecting human rights and freedoms, including aspects of the digitalization of public services.
During the meeting, participants discussed opportunities for access to electronic justice, as well as the exchange of experiences and the study of the judicial systems of Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia. The parties proposed drafting and signing a Cooperation Agreement between the Supreme Courts of the two countries.
It is expected that the implementation of the agreements reached will improve the effectiveness of justice and strengthen mutual trust within the framework of cooperation between the countries.
