The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan summed up the results of its activities for the first half of 2025. During the reporting period, the department continued to actively implement the state cultural policy aimed at preserving and developing national cultural traditions, strengthening the state cultural strategy, as well as the revival and popularization of intangible cultural heritage.
According to the Ministry of Culture, during the first six months of 2025, the country's theater and concert institutions held over 81 significant cultural events, covering a wide range of topics and areas. Key events include the Republican Festival-Competition of Professional Theaters "Parastu-2025", the International Festival of Professional Theaters "Navruz", as well as the festival-show of national costumes "Shine of Colors".
Particular attention was paid to the development of folk crafts and trades – in this direction, the festival "Bozori Khunar" was held, demonstrating the skills of local craftsmen and folk artisans. Also held were the competitions "Mirror of History" and "Gates of Enlightenment", aimed at popularizing the historical and cultural heritage of the country among young people.
An important event was the festive concert dedicated to Mother's Day, organized with the participation of children and teenagers at the State Cultural Institution "Kokhi Borbad". The event emphasized the importance of family and national values in the cultural policy of the state.
The Ministry of Culture continues its systematic work to improve the political and cultural literacy of the population, support creative groups and individual artists, and actively promote Tajik culture in the international arena.
