A ceremonial welcome of the first flight of Centrum Air, operating a regular flight on the route Dushanbe-Tashkent-Dushanbe, took place at Dushanbe International Airport.
The event was attended by representatives of Dushanbe International Airport, as well as the head of the commercial activities service of the airport of Tajikistan, Firdavs Umarov. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Ergash Shoismatov, delivered a welcoming speech.
The first flight from Dushanbe to Tashkent was a significant event, opening up new opportunities for business, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries. Centrum Air plans to regularly operate flights on this route twice a week – on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Departure from Dushanbe is scheduled for 13:30, arrival in Tashkent at 14:40.
The return flight from Tashkent to Dushanbe departs at 11:00 with arrival at 12:00.
In addition, regular flights between Dushanbe and Samarkand are already operating on Thursdays and Sundays.
Departure from Dushanbe at 08:25, arrival in Samarkand at 09:15.
The return flight from Samarkand to Dushanbe departs at 06:35, arriving at 07:25.
Centrum Air is the largest private airline in Uzbekistan, founded in January 2023. Its modern fleet includes eight narrow-body Airbus A320 family aircraft, including A320neo and A321neo modifications, as well as two wide-body Airbus A330. In the near future, the company's fleet will be replenished with four new aircraft.
