As a result of the night attack of Russian attack drones on Odessa, five people were injured, including two children, representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the local administration reported.
The Russian army launched an attack on the night of Thursday, July 3. The drone hit damaged a nine-story building, causing a fire from the seventh to the ninth floor. Rescue services evacuated 50 residents of the building, 10 of whom, including two children, were taken out using special equipment.
Among the victims are a boy and a girl, aged 7 and 9, who were poisoned by combustion products and were hospitalised. The other victims received the necessary medical care and continue to be treated on an outpatient basis.
The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, noted that the sounds of explosions were heard at about three o'clock in the morning local time. A few minutes before the attack, local authorities warned of the approach of attack drones in the direction of the city.
