In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, large-scale restoration work is underway in the Rasht region to eliminate the consequences of natural disasters. This was reported by the press service of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Under the leadership of the Chairman of the Commission for Emergency Situations, Colonel General Rajabali Rahmonali, a special commission for the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations has been formed and is actively operating. Restoration work is being carried out with the participation of the Commission for Emergency Situations, representatives of other government agencies and the local population.
Tajikabad district
In the villages of the jamoats of Qalai Labi Ob and Langari Shokh, servicemen of the military unit 45075 of the Emergency Situations Committee are taking part in the liquidation of the consequences. The main emphasis is on the restoration of destroyed and damaged housing.
Progress of work in completely destroyed houses:
In 32 houses, wall construction work has been completed (100%);
In 25 houses, roofs and ceilings have been installed (from 10% to 100%);
In 10 houses, plastering of walls was carried out (from 30% to 100%);
Doors and windows are installed in 6 houses (from 50% to 90%);
In 2 houses, the floor and ceiling were dismantled (from 60% to 65%);
In 1 building painting work has been completed (55%).
Progress of work in partially damaged houses:
In 164 houses, wall alignment has been completed (100%);
In 164 houses, formwork for cement was installed (from 70% to 100%);
In 162 houses, walls have been erected (from 5% to 100%);
Roofs and ceilings have been installed in 4 houses (from 10% to 20%).
All activities are carried out within the framework of the instructions of the head of state and are under the personal control of the Chairman of the Emergency Situations Commission. Restoration work continues. Additional information will be provided as it is completed.
