On June 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon commissioned a modern design infectious diseases hospital building in the center of the Roshtkala district, the press service of the head of state reported.
The hospital was built on the instructions of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon as part of the improvement and construction works and a worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, conditions were created in it for the effective work of doctors.
The head of state was informed that the infectious diseases hospital building is designed for 20 beds, and that conditions and opportunities have been created for diagnostics and treatment, improving the level and quality of medical services for the population.
This facility was built by the State Institution “Directorate for Construction of State Facilities” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for a total of more than 30 million somoni and is equipped with modern medical equipment.
The building of the district infectious diseases hospital consists of 3 floors and a basement, and modern conditions have been created in it for the timely treatment of patients with various infectious diseases.
The medical institution has 42 offices, which include a reception area, functional rooms, an intensive care unit, diagnostic and surgical departments.
The total area of the infectious diseases hospital is 1,300 square meters, the main building is built on an area of 480 square meters.
Construction work on the hospital began in 2022 with the involvement of local specialists and was completed to a high level of quality in accordance with modern architectural requirements.
The previous hospital building, old and dilapidated, did not have such modern amenities, which created great difficulties for the residents.
Now, with the construction and commissioning of a modern infectious diseases hospital with all the amenities in the area, the long-standing difficulties of the residents have been overcome.
Doctors expressed gratitude to the Head of State for his constant care of healthcare workers.
During a visit to the new building of the infectious diseases hospital in the Roshtqala district, Emomali Rahmon highly praised the quality of construction work and instructed doctors to provide timely and high-quality services to residents of the district.
It was emphasized that doctors should be polite when working with patients, because the patient needs good treatment and kind words more than anyone else.
