On June 25, the third meeting of the Tajik-Japanese intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific and technical cooperation was held in Tokyo with the participation of official delegations of the two countries, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan reported.
The delegations were headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Akhliddin Nuriddinzoda from the Tajik side and by Special Representative for Central Asian Countries, Deputy Director General of the European Department of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Masaki Ishikawa from the Japanese side.
During the meeting, important issues of developing bilateral cooperation were discussed, with special attention paid to the implementation of joint projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, energy, logistics, digitalization of the economy and human resource development.
