In preparation for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, construction of a modern poultry slaughter and packaging plant is continuing at an accelerated pace in the city of Buston in the Sughd region. This was reported by the press service of the regional chairman.
The construction is being carried out on the initiative of the Limited Liability Company "Khubdzhaminvest" as part of the implementation of the Action Plan dedicated to the anniversary date. In total, the city of Buston provides for the implementation of 223 objects of various purposes, including industrial, social and infrastructure projects. Particular attention is paid to the development of the production sector.
The Chairman of the Sughd Region, Rajabboy Akhmadzoda, paid a working visit to the construction site. During his familiarization with the progress of the work, it was noted that the enterprise had already received high-tech equipment manufactured in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. In the near future, specialists will begin its installation.
The planned enterprise will be fully automated and equipped with modern technologies that meet international sanitary and production standards. After commissioning, more than 100 permanent jobs will be created here.
The head of the region emphasized that the implementation of this project meets the strategic goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the Fourth National Goal – accelerated industrialization of the country. He noted that dozens of new enterprises are created in the Sughd region every year, which makes a significant contribution to strengthening the industrial potential of the region.
As noted, the launch of the plant in Buston will significantly increase the level of self-sufficiency of the country in high-quality domestic products, ensure food security, and expand export opportunities.
The regional chairman expressed confidence that the completion of construction within the established time frame and the successful launch of the enterprise will be another practical step in implementing the instructions and orders of the head of state Emomali Rahmon in the area of developing the processing industry and creating new jobs.
