In preparation for the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, construction and improvement works are actively continuing in the Spitamen district of the Sughd region. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
According to the approved plan, 635 different social and infrastructure facilities should be built and commissioned in the district by the anniversary date. According to local authorities, 543 facilities have been completed to date, which is 85.5% of the total plan.
Not only government agencies but also local residents, entrepreneurs and representatives of the diaspora are taking part in the construction work. Thus, residents of the village of Saidkala of the rural jamoat of Istiklol and the mahalla named after H. Karoboev of the rural jamoat named after Tursun Uldzhaboev organized a clean-up day and paved over one kilometer of intra-quarter roads.
During his working visit, the Chairman of the Sughd Region, Rajabboy Akhmadzoda, got acquainted with the progress of construction work and gave relevant instructions. He emphasized that the initiative of the citizens themselves plays a key role in the improvement of settlements and the quality of life.
According to local residents, many roads were previously in poor condition, which was especially noticeable during rainy seasons. Thanks to the efforts of the population and the support of the authorities, the movement of vehicles and pedestrians on these sections has become safe and accessible.
In the village of Saidkala, on the initiative of businessman Olimdzhon Yuldoshev, a four-story building is being built, two floors of which will be allocated for a kindergarten for 150 children, and the rest for a comprehensive school for 336 students. The project is aimed at solving the problem of a shortage of educational places in the area, where today there are 38 schools and 12 general secondary education institutions.
Large-scale projects include a major overhaul of the building of Secondary School No. 13 for 1,240 students. The work is being carried out with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan. More than 80 local residents are involved in the construction.
In addition, local entrepreneur Dilfuza Khuseynova is implementing a project to build a modern restaurant with elements of national architecture. The project employs 20 people. Construction is being carried out at an accelerated pace and should be completed in the near future.
Residents of Spitamen district, following the constructive policy and instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, are making efforts to worthily celebrate the anniversary of independence with significant socio-economic achievements.
On the instructions of the regional chairman, responsible persons are instructed to ensure the proper quality and timeliness of completion of all planned work.
