Russia's attack on the Dnieper: the death toll has risen to 16, the injured number is over 200, among the wounded are 19 children

As a result of Russia's missile strike on the Dnieper and Dnepropetrovsk region, the death toll has reached 16 people, and over 200 people have been injured, including 19 children. This was reported by the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, and official regional authorities.

According to Lysak, up to 15 people have died in Dnepr alone, and the number of injured is constantly growing. There are currently about 100 victims in hospitals, 12 of whom are in serious condition. Among those who received assistance are 18 children, the youngest patient is only six months old.

The Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office reported 17 dead and more than 200 wounded as a result of the strike. It is known that in the neighboring city of Samara, two more people were killed and 11 wounded, some of whom are in serious condition.

Let us recall that the attack took place on the morning of June 24. Residential buildings, a dormitory, a gymnasium, administrative buildings and a passenger train of the Ukrzaliznytsia company were damaged, and the injured passengers were injured.

The head of the region emphasized that many lives were saved by the fact that many people were in shelters during the strike. He noted: "The number of victims is constantly growing, but it could have been much higher."

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the figures of 16 dead and more than a hundred injured in an address to the Dutch parliament.
