On the night of June 22, Russian troops again launched massive airstrikes on Ukrainian territory. According to Ukrainian authorities, the attacks killed at least two people, injured dozens, and damaged civilian infrastructure in several regions.
In the city of Slavyansk in the Donetsk region, a 17-year-old teenager was killed as a result of the strike. According to the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadim Filashkin, three more people were injured. Destruction was recorded in 32 private homes, two administrative buildings, four multi-story residential buildings, one industrial building and three cars were damaged.
"A 17-year-old boy was killed in Slavyansk, three were injured. Dozens of civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged," Filashkin wrote on his Telegram channel.
In addition, on the evening of June 21, Russian troops attacked a residential building in Kramatorsk. According to preliminary data, there are casualties. It is possible that there are people under the rubble. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
In the Kharkiv region, according to the head of the regional administration Oleg Sinegubov, a 60-year-old man died in the village of Stary Saltiv as a result of a drone strike. However, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported the death of a 77-year-old man. It is currently being clarified whether this is the same person.
Since the beginning of June, the intensity of shelling from the Russian side on the territories of the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine has increased significantly. Ukrainian authorities regularly report the destruction of housing, energy facilities, transport and civilian casualties.
