A summer health camp for schoolchildren has opened in the Kamarob gorge of the Rasht district, designed to accommodate 450 children over three shifts. This was reported by the Executive Authority of the State Authority of the Rasht district.
According to the administration, the first shift of the camp, designed for 150 students, started on June 16. The camp is located in a picturesque mountainous area and is equipped in accordance with modern sanitary, hygienic and educational standards. The children have at their disposal comfortable sleeping quarters, a medical center, a canteen, a library, sports grounds and a swimming pool.
A rich cultural and leisure program has been prepared for the participants. The plan includes intellectual and sports games, competitions, quizzes, as well as various cultural and entertainment events aimed at the comprehensive development of schoolchildren.
As noted by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in the summer of 2025, about 5 thousand different camps will operate throughout the country – school, sports, health and work camps, in which more than 250 thousand children and teenagers will rest. The summer campaign is held in four shifts lasting 12 days each, with each shift accepting from 150 to 400 children.
The government of the republic considers the provision of organized, meaningful and safe summer recreation for children to be a priority area of state social policy.
