Dushanbe referee Amirjon Khorkashev has been temporarily suspended from officiating matches of the Tajikistan championship among teams of the top league and transferred to the first league. This decision was made on June 19 at a meeting of the referee committee of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the FFT reports.
At a meeting of the FFT referee committee, a complaint from the Vakhsh club regarding two incidents in the match of the twelfth round of the 2025 Tajikistan Championship with Eskhata, which took place on June 13 at the Spartak stadium in Khujand, was considered.
Having reviewed the video recording of the match, the FFT referee committee decided that FIFA referee Amirdzhon Khorkashev mistakenly awarded a penalty to the Vakhsh team in the 90+3 minute, and also did not show a red card to an Eskhata player in the 90+1 minute of the match. These mistakes by the referee ultimately affected the outcome of the match, which ended in a draw – 1:1.
Earlier, due to a mistake in the match of the seventh round of the 2025 Tajikistan Championship “Vakhsh” – “Barkchi” (2:2), Khorkashev was suspended from refereeing for three rounds.
Based on this, the FFT referee committee decided to temporarily suspend referee Amirjon Khorkashev from refereeing matches of the Tajikistan championship among teams of the top league and transfer him to the first league.
