In the rural jamoat of Vobkand, Kubodiyon district, Khatlon region, a ceremonial opening of an additional educational building at comprehensive school No. 19 took place. The ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Khatlon region, Davlatali Said, the press service of the head of the region reports .
The construction of the facility was implemented within the framework of the nationwide program of improvement and creation, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The construction of the building became possible thanks to the joint efforts of the executive body of state power of the district, local entrepreneurs and the active participation of residents of the settlement.
The new building includes 12 classrooms and is designed for 600 students studying in two shifts. All classrooms are fully equipped with the necessary school furniture – desks, chairs, teaching materials and visual aids. Favorable conditions for conducting classes in light, spacious and ventilated rooms have been created.
As noted by the district administration, before the new building was put into operation, students of school No. 19 faced an acute shortage of study places. The opening of the new building will significantly relieve the educational process and improve the quality of educational services.
During the visit, the regional chairman held a meeting with the teaching staff, where he emphasized the need to educate the younger generation in the spirit of humanism, patriotism and the desire for knowledge. He called on teachers to pay special attention to the exact and natural sciences, forming in schoolchildren a sense of responsibility and the desire to achieve high results.
"Education remains one of the priorities of state policy. Raising educated, moral and competitive youth is the key to our country's prosperity," said Davlatali Said.
At the end of the event, the regional chairman expressed gratitude to the builders, teachers and residents of the community for their contribution to the development of the region’s educational infrastructure.
