On the initiative of the Committee for Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the patriotic caravan of "Mothers Singing Unity" started in the country on June 16. This was reported by NIAT "Khovar".
The caravan consists of about 100 women, including mothers, activists and public figures. The delegation members are divided into four groups, which visit different cities and regions of the country. During the first days, the caravan visited Varzob, Faizabad, Shakhrinav and Rudaki regions.
During the trip, meetings were held with military personnel, local residents, and especially with young people. Women organized discussions on the importance of maintaining peace, the significance of State independence, and the role of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in strengthening national unity.
The delegation also visited cultural and historical sites in the regions. According to the organizers, such visits help strengthen social cohesion and patriotic education of the younger generation.
The caravan will end on June 20 in Dushanbe with the delegation’s participation in the Republican Conference entitled “Unity – the Dream of Mothers,” where the results of the events held will be summed up and initiatives for further promotion of the ideas of civil peace and harmony will be announced.
