Emomali Rahmon made major personnel appointments

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met with senior officials appointed to new positions in ministries and agencies overseeing banking, education, science, transport, energy, customs, and pensions, according to the press service of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Young, qualified specialists proficient in foreign languages ​​and modern information technology have been appointed to leadership positions. Specifically, specialists tasked with overseeing the digitalization of production processes and the implementation of modern digital technologies have been appointed deputy heads of relevant ministries and agencies.

Personnel changes have also affected the education system. New leaders have been appointed at a number of secondary vocational and higher education institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan. According to the press service, these positions have been filled by young specialists with significant achievements in research and teaching.

During the meeting, Emomali Rahmon thoroughly analyzed the state of the education system, focusing on the quality of instruction at educational institutions under the Ministry of Education and Science. The president gave specific instructions aimed at improving the quality of specialist training, streamlining the educational process, and addressing existing shortages related to the shortage of teaching staff and specialists who meet modern requirements.

At the end of the meeting, the head of state addressed the appointed leaders, calling on them to conscientiously and honestly fulfill their official duties and to faithfully serve the Motherland and the people of Tajikistan.

• Sukhrob Yokubzoda has been appointed Deputy Minister of Transport of Tajikistan.
• Praviz Jamol Yahyozoda has been appointed Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan.
• Azizulloh Nusratulloh Davlatzoda has been appointed Deputy Head of the Customs Service under the Government of Tajikistan.
• Ramazon Zikirullo Rahmonzoda has been appointed director of the Institute for the Study of Glaciers and Cryosphere of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
• Alexey Valerievich Zolotukhin has been appointed rector of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University, replacing Ilkhomuddin Ibrohimzoda .
• Saidjafar Farrukhdzhoni has been appointed director of the Presidential School for Gifted Students in the city of Kulyab.
• Zafar Sherali Davlatzoda has been appointed director of the Presidential School for Gifted Students in the Temurmalik district of Khatlon region.
