On July 6, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan held a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Headquarters for Coordinating Macroeconomic Policy Implementation and Preventing the Impact of Potential Risks on the National Economy, the ministry's press service reported.
The meeting was held in pursuance of instructions from Tajik President Emomali Rahmon aimed at reducing the impact of potential risks on the national economy.

The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurakhmon Abdurakhmonzoda, with the participation of heads of ministries and departments.
The main topic of the meeting was the provision of fuel to the consumer market and price regulation for it.
Participants discussed issues of improving the supply of petroleum products and liquefied gas to the domestic market.
Particular attention was paid to measures to diversify imports of petroleum products and crude oil for their subsequent processing at domestic production facilities.
The meeting also discussed the implementation of systematic price and tariff monitoring. These measures are aimed at preventing artificially inflated fuel prices at retail outlets.
