From June 24 to 26, the second staff talks on the preparation and conduct of the Rubezh-2026 joint exercise with units of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) were held in Kazakhstan, the Organization's press service reported.
Representatives of relevant ministries and agencies from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the Joint Staff and Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, took part in the negotiations.
During the meeting, the parties agreed on the general concept of the exercise, the timing and order of arrival of national contingents, the sequence of practical activities, and issues of comprehensive support.
In addition, the negotiators conducted a reconnaissance of the area of the upcoming exercises at the Koktal training ground, where the main events are planned to take place.





The Central Asian Collective Rapid Deployment Forces are designed to ensure the military security of CSTO member states in Central Asia. Their missions include participating in repelling external military aggression and conducting joint counter-terrorism operations.
The CSTO member states allocate military units and subdivisions of constant readiness to the CRRF, equipped with modern weapons, military and special equipment.
