On May 25, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to the President and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardori and Shahboz Sharif, in connection with the suicide bombing of a passenger train in the Balochistan province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which resulted in the death and injury of a large number of people, the press service of the head of state reported.
In particular, it states:
“We, while strongly condemning this terrible terrorist act and any manifestation of terrorism, constantly emphasize the urgent need for a merciless fight against this evil.
I express my deepest condolences and sincere support to you, the friendly and brotherly people of Pakistan, and to the families and loved ones of the victims. I ask the Almighty for mercy and forgiveness for the victims, and for a speedy and full recovery for all those injured."
