Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with drones on the night of May 13, according to Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov.
According to him, strikes were recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of the city. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, drone debris fell on the road. There were no reports of casualties.
In the Kholodnogorsk district, the strike hit an infrastructure facility. A fire broke out at the impact site. There are no reports of casualties.
Last night, the Ukrainian Air Force issued warnings about Russian drones moving toward Kharkiv. Air raid sirens were also issued in Kyiv and most regions of Ukraine due to the threat of ballistic missile use.
Explosions were also heard in Poltava. According to Vitaliy Dyakovnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, drones attacked an electrical substation in the Poltava community.
The strike left more than 6,500 residential and 548 business customers without power. Damage to the windows of nearby residential buildings was also reported. There are no reports of casualties yet.
The day before, the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Kremlin announced the end of a three-day ceasefire. Following this, the Russian army continued to strike Ukrainian territory.
According to local authorities, six people were killed and seven others were injured in the attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region, including a nine-month-old girl.
There were also reports of strikes in the Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Sumy regions.
Russian troops also launched an attack on Kryvyi Rih. According to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, the attack killed two people and wounded four others.
Kryvyi Rih Defense Council Chairman Oleksandr Vilkul reported that a Shahed-type drone struck a residential building. He identified the dead as a 43-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman.
