Kyrgyz journalists visited the city of Nurek as part of a press tour of Tajikistan.
During the trip, guests were treated to green mountains and hills, clean spring air, and natural beauty, showcasing the country's tourism and natural resources, NIAT Khovar reported.
Kyrgyz journalists expressed satisfaction with the press tour's packed program, noting the high level of organization, the warm welcome, and the opportunity to gain a closer understanding of Tajikistan's history, culture, and contemporary development.
During the trip, a conversation took place with one of the press tour participants, Salkyn Sarnogoeva, Head of the Information Policy Department of the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan. She shared her impressions of her stay in the country.

According to her, Tajikistan is a cozy and green country with a rich history. During the trip, the delegation already visited Gissar, where they were able to explore ancient historical monuments.
Salkyn Sarnogoeva noted the measured and calm lifestyle of the country's residents, emphasizing the absence of the hustle and bustle typical of large cities. She also noted the openness and friendliness of the people.
She singled out the national culture, including traditional costumes, the beauty of Tajik women, and the scale of the Navruz celebrations, which, according to her, lasts almost a week.

She also spoke about a meeting with colleagues from Tajikistan, noting the differences in the development of the two countries' media landscapes. According to her, traditional television in Kyrgyzstan is gradually giving way to digital platforms, while in Tajikistan, audiences maintain strong interest in the traditional broadcasting format.
She emphasized that in the context of global information challenges, including disinformation, deepfakes, and information warfare, cooperation and the creation of joint media projects are particularly important.

The interviewee expressed confidence that concrete steps toward cooperation could be taken during the visit, and that the trip itself would mark the beginning of new professional connections.
It is noted that a delegation of 25 journalists from Kyrgyzstan is in Tajikistan from March 22 to 27 as part of a return visit.

Earlier, in July 2025, Tajik journalists visited Kyrgyzstan, where they learned about the work of the media and the country's cultural and tourism potential.
