In 2025, the National Legislation Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, on its own initiative, developed eight draft regulatory legal acts and agreements. This was announced by the Center's Director, Izzatullo Saidzoda, speaking at a press conference to reporters from domestic and international media outlets on the institution's performance in 2025.
According to him, during the reporting period, the National Legislation Center received 123 draft regulatory legal acts from higher authorities, as well as ministries and departments, for legal review.

Saidzoda noted that an analysis of the expert review results revealed a number of violations in the submitted drafts. Specifically, instances of non-compliance with the rules for developing, adopting, amending, and supplementing regulatory legal acts were identified, as well as contradictions and inconsistencies between the provisions of documents regulating the same social relations. Furthermore, instances of non-compliance with the official style of the Tajik language were recorded.
In this regard, the National Legislation Center submitted 507 proposals to law-making entities aimed at eliminating the identified shortcomings, their scientific and practical justification, improvement and specification of the mechanisms for the development and application of laws.
The Center's head emphasized that the proposals presented will contribute to the prevention and elimination of identified problems, as well as the overall development of legislation in various areas of law.
