Representatives of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Delhi Technological University discussed bilateral cooperation in education and signed an agreement to jointly develop a roadmap for cooperation, the press center of the Tajik university reported.
As part of the official visit, a delegation from the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan met with Professor Vishal Verma, Vice-Rector of Delhi Technological University and Director of the Department of Professional Development. During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for deepening academic and scientific cooperation, exchanging experiences, and developing joint educational programs.
Delhi Technological University, one of India's largest educational centers, trains specialists in a wide range of fields, including technology, engineering, computer science, economics, management, and more. During the meeting, key areas of cooperation between the universities were identified.
The agreement and the developed roadmap provide for the organization of academic exchanges for students, advanced training courses for teachers, the invitation of professors from both sides, and the conduct of joint scientific research, conferences, and other events.
Particular attention was given to the opportunities for faculty and students of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan to participate in the ICCR and ITEC programs implemented by the Government of India, as well as opportunities for faculty and students to enhance their professional competencies and expand their educational experience.
The parties emphasized that the agreement will be an important step in strengthening educational and scientific cooperation between Tajikistan and India, will expand opportunities for students and teachers, improve the quality of education, and implement joint research projects.
