On November 18, 2025, the 20th meeting of the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Consultative Coordination Center for Computer Incident Response (CSTO CCC) was held in Moscow. Delegations from national authorized bodies of CSTO member states participated in the event, according to the CSTO press service.
The meeting was opened by CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov, who delivered a welcoming speech to the participants.
During the meeting, delegates discussed current information security threats and methods for countering them. Participants noted the massive increase in attacks using supply chains and counterparties, as well as the intensive involvement of various interacting organizations and entities in their implementation.
Of particular concern were threats related to the leakage of large amounts of personal data of individuals and legal entities, as well as attacks through trusted external communication channels that could lead to computer incidents.
Delegates exchanged views on modern threats and the challenges of promptly communicating information about critical software vulnerabilities to owners of vulnerable resources and responding to them.
The active development of information exchange activities between specialists of the CSTO CCC contact points, as well as a simultaneous increase in the number of joint events, was noted.
The meeting participants expressed gratitude to the representative of the Kyrgyz Republic for organizing and hosting the first CSTO International Conference on Cyber Security in June of this year.
