A district headquarters has been established in Farkhor to implement the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Resolution "On the timely preparation of economic and social sectors of the country for regular and effective operations during the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026." The plan for coal and firewood procurement for the district's budgetary organizations has been fully fulfilled, according to NIAT Khovar, citing the Farkhor District Executive Authority.
It is noted that most educational and preschool institutions in the district have now stockpiled coal, firewood, and diesel fuel to ensure a successful winter. Furthermore, diesel generators have been installed in five schools, and solar panels have been installed in three others.
The district's healthcare facilities—the central and district hospitals, the district health center, as well as rural health centers and medical centers—have also been supplied with coal, firewood, and diesel fuel. Healthcare facility managers have stockpiled flour, oil, rice, sugar, and other food products.
Responsible officials and farmers in the district are taking specific measures to procure seeds of grain, potatoes and other agricultural crops for timely sowing, as well as to ensure feed reserves for livestock.
In the Farkhor district, special coal sales points have also been set up to provide the population with fuel.
