In September 2025, preventative seminars and meetings on combating corruption were held in Tajikistan with the participation of employees of military commissariats in the Sughd region, the cities and districts of Dushanbe, Tursunzade, Gissar, Shahrinav, Vose, Gornaya Matcha, as well as a branch of the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Education Workers, the press center of the Agency for State Financial Control and the Fight against Corruption reported.
At the events, Agency representatives provided participants with a detailed overview of anti-corruption legislation and government programs, discussed the identification and investigation of corruption offenses, liability for them, and measures to prevent corruption risks, particularly during the autumn conscription of citizens into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The purpose of such meetings is to increase the legal anti-corruption literacy of military commissariat and Ministry of Defense employees, foster an uncompromising attitude toward corruption, and reduce the likelihood of corruption-related offenses during the conscription process.
The press center noted that the seminars were held in a constructive and anti-corruption atmosphere, and their results will contribute to enhancing the legal awareness of participants and strengthening discipline in military institutions.
